Thanks for the 56 points for my entry, because that's the only good thing to come out of this go-around.

Unfortunately, for me, this contest is no longer any fun. I came back because I wanted to have fun again with WorldVision. Over these past few months, however, my opinion of WorldVision has soured. Before you all go on and say that I am being a sourpuss for not qualifying, I am also here to tell y'all that's not the only reason the opinion has soured. Well, I might as well reveal everything I did and have done throughout my entire WV career.

Before I get into this reason, I just want to say to Team Palestine (@hjarnskakning and @Celka, mainly) that while this was a nice presentation of the show and the results just now, In my opinion, it was a little confusing and boring. This is not to take away the importance of having a WV in Palestine, in this imaginary scenario. I also feel that Palestine winning WV200 and another edition was a bit of a gimmie considering what's going on in the world, but I am willing to let bygones be bygones and let that ship sail without further comment.

Another reason: I am also so very sorry to say this to you all, but being generous, with every edition I participated in this go-around, I found that I only really liked a couple of the entries from other delegates. Everything else was either mid-tier or absolute trash. Another reason I came back when I did was to broaden my taste in music. However, I will say that there were times that as I was listening to these entries, my thinking on them was "Once you've heard one of these, you've heard them all." I am sorry to say that this was an occurrence with K-Pop entries.

This leads me to my next point, in which I tell y'all how I would score all of your entries. I would (1) skim through each song, (2) rank it on a tier list, and (3) go on to the next song. That's it. That's really it. That is how I came up with my votes, and I did this every edition I ever participated in. If a song in the other semifinal didn't qualify, forget about me listening to it. And now you can rage, crash out, cry, whatever it is you all do. I don't care anymore. Y'all might even say that I have never cared, and sure, you might be right.

I think that about covers my issues/problems/complaints with WorldVision as a whole. Other than the fact that maybe I'm a bit more set in my musical tastes than I thought I was when I first came back. To the folks that appreciated what I brought to the table, you all have my sincerest appreciation. To the folks that didn't, well, some things are better left unsaid in this instance, but y'all know where you stand with me.

Now, I am off to drink some water.

The contest doesn't owe you anything beyond your right to participate. If there are structural problems with how the contest is being run there is something to talk about, but I don't see anything here beyond a misalignment in the taste of WV and your taste. That can not be fixed easily.

So you made us listen to Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Brittney Spears twice while you was taking the piss by not listening to any song really and now you have the nerve to call other entries "absolute trash"? Ironic king. I fully support you calling out k-pop entries by the way, they are indeed a tad worse compared to your big pop diva entries.

How odd. This reminds me of someone on another forum who I get the impression never listens to the songs. Why even bother taking part if that is the case. Then it really is a waste of time.

When I was hosting NSC 238, there was one user who sent me their votes for the two semifinals less than one hour after I posted the semifinal threads, and they did not participate in the LL. I was like, what?

Thnx for the qualification! Tbh i didn't quite expect it this time, as i thought my entry was not very easy on the ears, but i'm glad Rosey made it to the final this time, after her NQ with "The Emperor". :D Congrats to the rest of the qers ! xcheer

Congrats to the qualifiers. I'm not overly shocked to have NQ'd but zero in REJU is a little hard on the eyes... At least I'm not alone at the bottom xcheer

We also had to say farewell to far too many fabulous entries...
