I actually gasped when I was at the first LL and the chorus of your song hit me like a tonne of bricks. After sadly losing the equally wonderful Attica and Pacific States entries to the semis, you basically had my 12 locked in. Sadly it couldn't quite get you a victory but so glad you got such an amazing result.

After the unlucky flop last edition, I just felt such a strong urge to send him immediately again with my fave song of his, seeing as we were in Albania (matching those Fik vibes.) I'm really pleased this one worked out, and sneaking into the top 10 has been the cherry on the cake. Big thank you especially to John and Eulaliya for the 12s Adrian plus Looren's semi 12s don't go unnoticed either
And finally of course, I felt honoured you picked me as your cohost after your long awaited victory, @Looren. Btw, I'm sure the result of my entry was influenced by all the dust and mud that was thrown and the false accusations, because I won NRG in the other forum for the first time in my life after so many years of participating, and here it came in bottom 3. But anyway, I didn't even expect to qualify after all that controversy.

I want to give many thanks to the hosting team, the genius of their trio shined through during this hosting 
I actually discovered this song the day it was released as I was already following the artist. I immediately added it to my shortlist - though I feel that the word shortlist may be inaccurate considering the amount of songs that end there. However, I was on the fence about sending it to WV for a while. I thought it might not be suited to WV taste - I'm glad I was completely delulu about that. The wise Uto told me it had a decent chance to Q so I finally decided to send it. But then I realized a few days after submitting it - when voting very late to OM, sorry again about this Fofo - that it had just been sent to OM. Then I went full-on drama for a few hours and almost switched to my backup entry. After the semi ended, I got my hopes up and decided that it might be reasonable to aim for a second top 10.
All this rambling to say I had already experienced an emotion rollercoaster with this entry before I looked at the forum this morning. When I arrived at the last scoreboards of the show, my heartbeat skyrocketed when I realized I could actually do it. I almost screamed in my hostel room and woke up all the people sleeping
Also, I love sailing so it feels extra special to win on a boat edition - and with this wonderful dino boat too.

PS: My life is quite busy at the moment so I do not think it is very wise to host. However, being wise is not fun, so I am definitely thinking about it. Need one or two days to figure out whether that is doable and what the schedule would look like
