I gave the song 1 point in the poll, and I still stand by what I said about it, but tonight Austria gave us a lesson in how to sell a song correctly. It was really sweet and memorable, beautiful staging (perhaps the best of this whole year), and for some reason I wasn't annoyed during those three minutes, even though I think the song is terrible. Something weird happened tonight in that I wasn't angry that the two songs I disliked most in this semi (Austria and Belarus) took places of songs I liked more in the final (unlike Tuesday when I was furious that Finland missed). That's because the two countries really took off their gloves and fought for it, doing everything right. Well done Austria.
