With a week having now passed since the Eurovision 2022 grand final, the songs of this year’s edition have begun to flood the various charts of Europe and beyond. Let’s take a quick look at how this year’s artists have been commercially received!

The biggest success, as is tradition, comes for the Eurovision winner. Kalush Orchestra’s touching yet upbeat song “Stefania” has become a success in European charts since Ukraine swept the scoreboard on Saturday night, peaking at #1 in Lithuania and Ukraine and also reaching the Top 40 in seven other countries. It is the only song other than Sam Ryder’s “Space Man” to make the notoriously difficult to crack UK Top 40.

Speaking of Sam, his success for the United Kingdom this year has seen him reach the highest chart position for a UK Eurovision entry since 1996’s “Ooh… Ahh.. Just a Little Bit”. His track has also been spotted in the charts of five other countries.

Chanel’s “SloMo” brought Spain their best Eurovision result since 1995, and has seen a strong finish in the Spanish chart of #13. This matches Miki’s chart performance with “La venda” in 2019. Notably, Norway’s Subwoolfer have appeared in six charts across the continent despite their 10th place finish – the details of which can be seen below.

In terms of overall numbers, once again the Lithuanian chart has gone Eurovision crazy; after last year’s winners Mรฅneskin dominated the post-Eurovision chart over there, a number of entries have entered into this week’s charts. The Netherlands have also gone ‘Songfestival’ crazy, with the Dutch Single Top 100 chart seeing no less than twelve entries in the top 30 and many more in the lower regions of the chart.
