Eurovision 2020 may not be going ahead like we hoped for, but our “Expert” Panel won’t be going away! This year, 15 members of the ESC United team and our forum have combined to provide our ‘expert’ opinion on all of the hopefuls from this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

As a quick reminder, the rules of our “Expert” Panel are simple; our team provide a score for each entry between 1 and 10, with .5 scores also possible – 1 being terrible and 10 being a perfect score and an amazing entry. Each entry will also have a video, where Matt will discuss the entry with three members of the panel and provide their rationales for their points for the song.

Let’s move on to the next country…

The second country we will be focusing on is Greece, who opted to send Stefania with “SUPERG!RL” to Eurovision 2020. She will be back next year, but what did our team think of this year’s uptempo track?

In this video, Matt discusses the Greek entry with Sebastian, James and Sean. What did our team think of it? #YOU can find out in the video below;

With four of our team passing judgement above, it’s now time to see how the scores fell for Slovenia across our panel;

  • Boris 7
  • Connor 8.5
  • David 2
  • Fernando 7
  • Gabe 7
  • Holly 6
  • James 6
  • Matt 7
  • Melanie 7
  • Robert 3
  • Roy 7.5
  • Sanio 8.5
  • Sean 6.5
  • Sebastian 4
  • Stefan 8.5

We also asked our forum readers and members to share their votes on the song, with the Forum score being attributed as 6.88 for Greece.

Overall, this means that Greece’s “SUPERG!RL” earns an average of score of 6.40 – which moves them above Slovenia to the top of our scoreboard!

  1. 🇬🇷 Greece – 6.40
  2. 🇸🇮 Slovenia – 6.01

Will Greece stay top, or be replaced soon? Stay tuned as next up it’s Latvia’s “Still Breathing” to face our panel – so make sure to subscribe and add notifications for our YouTube channel to not miss a thing!
