Competition was pretty intense in Benidorm tonight.

Eight acts competed in the second semi-final of Benidorm Fest 2024, all of them hoping to advance to the final and join the first four finalist from semi final one: Nebulossa, Angy, Sofia Coll and Miss Caffeina.

Tonights show was hosted again by Eurovision 2014 artist Ruth Lorenzo, Marc Calderó and Ana Pradas live from the Palau L’Illa in Benidorm. The night also featured interval acts from Sergio Dalma (Spanish representative in Eurovision 1991) and the new pop sensation in Spain, Iñigo Quintero.

After an intense voting process it was revealed that St Pedro, Maria Pelae, Jorge Gonzalez and Almacor had scored high enough to advance to Saturday’s final. You can see the full breakdown of points below:

  1. St. Pedro – “Dos extraños” – 164 points (94+35+35)
  2. María Peláe – “Remitente” – 131 points (71+30+30)
  3. Jorge González –  Caliente” – 122 points (42+40+ 40)
  4. Álmacor – “Brillos platino” 115 points (65+ 25+25)
  5. Roger Padrós – “El Temps” – 103 points (55+20+28)
  6. MARLENA – “Amor de verano” – 96 points (48+28+20)
  7. Yoly Saa – “No se me olvida” – 79 points (35+22+22)
  8. Dellacruz – “Beso en la mañana” – 54 points (22+16 +16)

The results of tonight’s show were determined by 50% jury vote, 25% demoscopic jury vote and 25% televoting. The jury included four national jurors Beatriz Luengo, Guille Milkway, Ángela Carrasco and Carlos Baute and four international jurors Lee Smithurst, David Tserunyan, Marta Piekarska, Nicoline Refsing.
