A few days ago, Petra Mede took to the official Instagram account of the Eurovision Song Contest to announce an exciting update: the first interval act of 2024 will be a “Petra Number.”

According to Petra, this performance will feature a blend of dancing and singing, emphasizing that “nobody does it like Petra Mede herself.” The act, titled “We Just Love Eurovision Too Much,” marks the debut announcement for interval acts in the upcoming event.

Who is Petra Mede?

Petra Mede is a Swedish comedian, actress, and television presenter known for her charismatic and humorous character. She gained international acclaim as the first solo female host of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013, held in Malmö, Sweden, where her performance garnered widespread praise.
