Another weekend and another iconic national selection kicks off in Europe, as the race to Liverpool 2023 hots up even further! This weekend, it’s the return of Supernova in Latvia, with fourteen acts beginning the quest to win the Latvian ticket to this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
With Latvia’s recent record in the contest seeing them struggle to make it to the final, there is a lot of hope in the country that the winning song of Supernova 2023 can return them to the Eurovision final for the first time since 2016 – incidentally when Justs last took part, who returns this year!
