Our annual Ranking Game is back. This is where you can vote for your favorite Eurovision songs on a weekly basis.

Our readers award points Eurovision Style to their favorite songs. At the end of the week we will tally up the points, post the results and reset the game to keep the ranking current.

This week’s Results are in. This is how our readers have voted.

Our observations:

1. We have a new leader. Slovenia is now your favorite, kicking Estonia off the thrown which they occupied for the last two weeks. This is the first time in the Ranking Game’s history that Slovenia finishes first.

2. Other than that, the Top 10 has been rather quiet with a couple of newcomers joining in.

3. Germany is the most successful newcomer, finishing in a respectable 9th place. Romania and the United Kingdom aren’t too far behind.

4. Latvia and Ireland are technically the biggest growers but both of them only managed to climb up one spot.

5. The biggest loser are The Netherlands. Poor Trijntje dropped seven spots and falling more than any other nation.

6. Portugal joins and immediately finishes in last place which is good news for Finland who was at the Bottom last year.

Now we’re doing our weekly reset which means you’ll get to vote again. Please use the Eurovision point system (12, 10, 8 etc). Once all songs are known, you’ll get to send in your votes. The HoD meeting is Monday so it is expected that all songs will be known by then.
