The Swiss preselection is in full spate now: This morning the voting on the SRF online platform has officially started! Click here to listen through the countless number of submissions and eventually vote.
How does voting work?
It’s quite simple – you can distribute 4 points in every possible way. Giving 4 points to one song is possible as well as awarding 4 songs with one point each. You have to enter your mobile phone number for verification purposes.
The online voting closes on 17 November at 8:00 CET. The results will be combined with a jury ranking in order to determine the top 9 candidates proceeding to the so-called “expert check” which will take place in December.
In the meantime, the Italian-speaking broadcaster is gearing up for the selection process as well. Tomorrow morning, a professional jury will internally pick 3 songs out of 28 to compete at the expert check. The jury is made up of former Eurovision entrant Paolo Meneguzzi, The Voice participant Iris Moné and singer-songwriter Simone Tomassini.
The French language broadcaster RTS presented 26 candidates in the running for the 6 tickets to the expert check. Check them out here!
