This morning, the Swedish broadcaster SVT revealed the running order of their national final Melodifestivalen. During a live broadcast on the Instagram account of Melodifestivalen, people could watch Karin Gunnarsson presenting the whiteboard with the iconic post-its that tell us which act will perform in which semi-final. Malou Prytz with her song “Bananas” will be the first act to perform during this national final on the 5th of February. On the 26 February Klara Hammarström will perform as the last act with her song “Run to the Hills.” You can rewatch the livestream here below:

Semi-final 1: 5 February 2022

  1. Malou Prytz – “Bananas”

  3. Shirley Clamp – “Let There Be Angels”
  4. Omar Rudberg – “Moving Like That”

  7. Klara Hammarström – “Run to the Hills”

The 62nd edition of Melodifestivalen will kick off on February 5th with the first semi-final in Malmo, and the winner will be chosen on March 12th 2022 using a combination of jury and public voting. Last year, Tusse won Melodifestivalen and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in rotterdam with his song “Voices.” He finished 14th place with a grand total of 109 points.
