She was lost but she found herself in Rotterdam. Roxen has rehearsed for the first time, below you’ll find a report on her proceedings.

Roxen’s fashion instantly evokes Billie Eilish – brightly coloured hair, baggy clothing, a hoodie to match. The dance act present in the video clip takes shape on the stage. Five dancers, clad in beige hoodies, huddled up on the stage. The five dancers act as foil to Roxen, interacting with her via a modern dance choreography. The backdrop supports the song with some stunning visuals of settling suns.
There is a “but”, however. Roxen doesn’t fully interact with the camera (even throughout the third rehearsal) meaning that the empathy so crucial to “Amnesia” (it’s about mental health – specifically adolescent mental health. Who better to champion that than Roxen?) gets a bit lost in the choreography. It is our opinion that Romania’s empathy (or lack thereof )will prove make or break for their qualification chances.
