The Romanian broadcaster TVR announced that the song representing the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen will be selected via a National Final.

Starting Wednesday January 15th artists wishing to compete can submit their application. The submission deadline is Saturday, February 15th and at that point a jury will review and evaluate all candidates. Ultimately 12 songs will be chosen for the National Final with the candidates being announced on February 20th.

Romania is usually choosing their act via a National Final however the broadcaster did not reveal any information until today resulting in several rumors including a return of Paula Seling and Ovi who represented Romania in 2010 bringing home a respectable 3rd place.
