Good evening from Vilvoorde! Belgium have completed their National Selection – Eurosong 2025- and have crowned a winner: Red Sebastian will represent Belgium at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Tonight’s live show saw the following eight artists compete for a chance to represent Belgium at Eurovision:

  1. LEEZ – “Perfectly Imperfect”
  2. Le Manou – “Fille à papa” (Daddy’s girl)
  3. Jelle van Dael – “Monster”
  4. Mentissa – “Désolée” (Regretful)
  5. LENN – “Air balloon”
  6. Stefanie Callebaut – “Gloria”
  7. Red Sebastian – “Strobe Lights”
  8. Grace – “Pull up”

The songs were performed live with staging to reflect the concept for the contest. A panel of four jury members gave commentary and feedback to the performers after each song. They were:

  • Gustaph – Belgian representative in the 2023 Contest
  • MEROL – A Dutch singer who is very popular in Flanders
  • Bart Cannaerts – Belgian spokesperson in 2023, a comedian who is a huge fan of the Contest
  • Emmelie de Forest – The Danish winner of the 2013 Contest

The four panellists were also part of a 15 person professional jury composed of fans, radio DJs and music industry professionals, who decided 50% of the combined vote. The other 50% was decided by the audience.

Red Sebastian won the overal tally with a monster score: a high 132 points from juries, and a 291 Points demolition in the televote. You can see his dominance in the scoreboard below:
