Goedenavond uit Rotterdam! Tonight, we once again dived into a Eurovision semifinal. Keeping up with the first semifinal from last Tuesday, we were once again treated to a spectacle show.

Once again the show was hosted splendidly by Edsilia Rombley, Chantal Janzen, Jan Smit and Nikkie de Jager, while seveneen acts battled it out for the ten last qualifier spots for Saturday’s Grand Final.

Tonight’s line-up was as follows:

  1. SAN MARINO – Senhit ft. Florida – “Adrenalina”
  2. ESTONIA – Uku Suviste – “The Lucky One”
  3. CZECH REPUBLIC – Benny Cristo – “Omaga”
  4. GREECE – Stefania – “Last dance”
  5. AUSTRIA – Vincent Bueno – “Amen”
  6. POLAND – Rafał – “The ride”
  7. MOLDOVA – Natalia Gordienko – “Sugar”
  8. ICELAND – Daði og Gagnamagnið – “10 Years”
  9. SERBIA – Hurricane – “Loco loco”
  10. GEORGIA – Tornike Kipiani – “You”
  11. ALBANIA – Anxhela Peristeri – “Karma”
  12. PORTUGAL – The Black Mamba – “Love is on my side”
  13. BULGARIA – Victoria – “Growing up is getting old”
  14. FINLAND – Blind Channel – “Dark side”
  15. LATVIA – Samanta Tina – “The moon is rising”
  16. SWITZERLAND – Gjon’s Tears – “Tout l’Univers”
  17. DENMARK – Fyr & Flamme – “Øve os på hinanden”

The show was opened by breakdance wonder and amputee Redo, supported by excellent vocals by indie wonder Eefje de Visser, while the mid-show interval act was “Close Encounters of the Special kind”, a ballet performance by Ahmad Joudeh and BMX’er Dez Maarsen. The second edition of EurovisionTutorials focused on the power of teamwork.

Once the proceedings had gone over, it was time to announce the 10 qualifiers. Here they are

These ten acts will now perform in Saturday’s grand final, and will be joined by ten more qualifiers from Thursday’s second semi-final.
