Today, over 500 Eurovision fans attended the Europhoria Garden T-Dance in Malmo.

Gilad from NYC had been invited to bring this successful New York concept to Sweden, where the Eurovision Song Contest is held this year. Europhoria brought its unique concept to the official Eurovision venue, the Euro Café in Malmo, for a special Friday afternoon T-Dance Party!

ESC United was there to thank the fans for their hospitality.  We were so grateful for the fans being such good sports for letting us from OGAE Rest of the World be part of the Eurovision community.

We then proceeded to give away a good chunk of the promotional materials we received from the delegations over the past two weeks to those in attendance. After all, the fans are what make Eurovision! The fans mobbed Zack for freebies but it was very organized chaos. In the end no one got hurt so that’s a good thing!

It’s not as ugly as it looks. They were very polite about the free-for-all

Zack gave away his official Eurovision program book that came with his press accreditation. This fan was the lucky one to receive it. Zack thought this was the best prize of the bunch!

We want to thank Gilad for letting us assist him on his Europhoria event. We hope that one day we can join him in NYC to help bring some Eurovision flavor to the States.

I only see this now. I hope the people who got the CD’s were F2 and not P’s.
