Not to long ago, Sweden revealed their host and some of their details, and even Denmark revealed their host city for next year, so now it’s time for Norway to reveal some of their own details, of what we can expect from 2023.

Melodi Grand Prix 2023 Hosts

Recently, Norwegian national broadcaster (NRK) could confirm, that they have found their “duo”, which will keep viewers entertained through the winter months with Melodi Grand Prix 2023.

During the show StudioP3, – which is hosted by Arian Engebø and Nate Kuhunga – it was revealed who the show hosts for the next season of the Norwegian national final would be, in a rather proposing way, so to say.

A new song was played during the broadcast, written and performed by Stian “Staysman” Thorbjørnesen, a song that was about the female host. Hereafter, the Norwegian singer was then invited into the studio and asked the female host, if she would host Melodi Grand Prix 2023 with her, which she responded to with a yes!

Both personalities are already looking forward to this big responsibility to host a show, that is usually seen by so many in Norway. The format in 2023 will remain rather similar to that of the recent past years, and shows will be hosted throughout January and February. How many songs will take part is still unknown, but the first show is set to take place on the 14th of January 2023, with the final being set somewhere in February.

Arian Engebø is usually a radio show host in Norway, while Staysman is slightly more familiar with Eurovision fans, as he has participated twice in MGP, first in 2015 – (video below) – together with Lazz and then in 2021 as part of Landeveiens Helter.

In 2022, Subwoolfer was selected to represent Norway at the contest with their song “Give The Wolf a Banana“, the song came 10th in the grand final.
