If you live in one of the Nordic countries or you fancy your chances at representing Sweden, Finland or Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015, now is your chance to take part!

The submission processes for Melodifestivalen (Sweden), UMK (Finland) and Melodi Grand Prix (Denmark) have now opened, but if you’re an aspiring Nordic artist or songwriter you may need to be quick as all three submission processes will finish in September! Follow the details below to find out how you can apply to represent your country in Vienna next May;

Sweden – Melodifestivalen

Upload audio files to the official Melodifestivalen website at svt.se/melodifestivalen before September 16th, 08:59 CET. All genres and languages permitted as long as the song adheres to Eurovision rules. Songwriters will be considered separately depending on whether they have previously published songs.

Finland – UMK

As we previously reported, the submission process is now open for Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu. The deadline is September 8th and at least one member of the songwriting team must hold Finnish citizenship. The rules can be found here (in Finnish). UMK’s final will take place next year in March.

Denmark – Melodi Grand Prix

The submission process for MGP has in fact been open for a while, but this will finish next week on September 8th, so if you want to be considered for Denmark’s Eurovision entry then you need to be quick! Apply for Denmark’s MGP here.

With all three countries performing well in 2014 expectation will be high – no pressure!
