The semi-final in Moldova this Friday 24th February and Moldova will decide the next representative this Saturday 25th February. 14 semi-finalists will all present their entries on Friday and eventually 8 will be chosen to compete during the Final show. Today Aurel Chritoaca has found time to talk to us about his entry Dor de Mama.
Hello Aurel Chirtoaca
First of all thank you for your time talking to us. How are you ? Can you introduce yourselves ? What can you tell us about yourself?
I am 35 years old. I am married and I have 3 wonderful children..I graduated the Academy of Arts, choral conducting faculty. At the moment I take part of the organ choir hall. I have a strong personality and I am trying to get over any attempts. I am very sociable.
Your song that you will be presenting for the national final in Moldova is “Dor De Mama” . What can you tell us about the song? What was the inspiration for the song, and did you write it specifically for the national final in Molodova and Eurovision?
“Dor de Mama” started from a simple song that I have written for someone else. After that we decided that this song represents me.
Do you plan to release an English Version of this song? If you win, will you sing this song in English?
What is your impression of the Eurovision Song Contest in general? Do you watch it every year? What is your favourite entry?
The Eurovision Song Contest is the most popular European contest and of course everyone wants to be a part of it. Yes, i watch it every year. Zdob and Zdub is the band who has had a great performance at the ESC and this is not only my opinion.
Apart from the Eurovision Song Contest , where would you dream to do a performance?
I haven’t another dream yet
