In a double surprise turn of events, we got some news coming in from Latvia. Instead of 8, there will be 9 acts competing for a ticket to Rotterdam on February 8th.
The second surprise is that Markus Riva, an early fan favorite, haven’t been shortlisted, thus being the first time in seven years that he won’t perform at Supernova. However, regulars Samanta and Edgars were lucky enough to make the cut alongside 7 newcomers.
The nine competing acts are:

- DRIKSNA – ‘Stay’
- Edgars Kreilis – ‘Tridymite’
- Katrina Bindere – ‘I Will Break Your Heart’
- Katrina Dimanta – ‘Heartbeats’
- Miks Dukurs – ‘I’m Falling For You’
- Samanta Tina – ‘Still Breathing’
- Seleste – ‘Like Me’
