In a tweet posted by the official Junior Eurovision Twitter account today, Enzo was announced as the host entrant for this year’s contest in Paris. He will represent France with the upbeat, jazz-y pop track ‘Tic Tac’, written by French singer-songwriter Alban Lico.

The thirteen-year-old singer made it to the final 8 on the most recent season of The Voice Kids. During the season, he showed off his love of hip hop in his song choices, performing songs by Eminem, Macklemore, and Jay Z.  He joins Carla (JESC 2019) and Angélina (JESC 2018) as the third French representative to be plucked from The Voice Kids.

Enzo is a lifelong fan of Eurovision and developed a passion for music at a very early age. He has been uploading videos of himself performing to his YouTube channel since 2017. In this video, posted when Enzo was only 10 years old, he showed off his vocals and his impressive guitar-playing skills. Could he bring that skill to the stage in December?

The song’s composer, Alban Lico, is a French singer-songwriter and music technician who has worked on songs from past French JESC participants Carla and Valentina. He is signed to Warner Music France, and his new single ‘La Luna’ was released in March.

Do #YOU think France can pull a Poland and win for the second year in a row? Do #YOU want to see Alban Lico pull a Barbara and show up at the French national final next year? (I do.) Sound off in the comments below, in our forum, or on social media @ESCUnited.
