ORF, Austria’s national broadcaster and host of Eurovision 2015, has officially confirmed that the host city for the contest will be announced by August 2014, considerably earlier in the year than DR’s announcement of B&W Hallerne in September 2013.

As previously reported by ESC United, three cities are in contention for hosting Europe’s favourite television show; Graz (Stadthalle Graz), Innsbruck (Olympiaworld) and Vienna (Wiener Stadthalle D). Vienna also has several back-up venues including Vienna International Airport.
