Highway, a three-piece boyband who found fame during the second series of The X Factor Adria, finishing fourth, will represent Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, it has emerged.

Despite rumours of a Montenegrin walkout over the jury scandal in Vienna, RTCG has confirmed that Highway will succeed Knez as the Montenegrin performers. They become the second confirmed performers for Stockholm after Douwe Bob for the Netherlands.

The group were mentored to 4th place in the Balkan region’s X Factor series by Tonči Huljić and were the most successful group on the show.

No information on when or how a song will be chosen has yet been revealed by RTCG.
