The EBU may have inadvertently revealed the destionation of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest this evening, with eagle-eyed Eurofans noticing some peculiar activity on the official eurovision.tv website, which has since been removed.

The host city announcement was due to be made this Friday, 30th August, with the decision between Rotterdam and Maastricht. However, the official country page of the Netherlands on the contest’s website seems to have given the game away already.

Listed in the hostings of the Netherlands, there had been a link to an events page which says… Rotterdam 2020!

While this of course is not official confirmation, it now points overwhelmingly to Rotterdam being next year’s host city. However, the EBU have not yet confirmed or denied this information. A landing page for Maastricht has also appeared been discovered on the eurovision.tv website, however the telling sign of Rotterdam being added as host may be the biggest factor in this reveal.
