We finally have some news coming from Greece. They are once again going to hold a Nation Final where most likely five acts will compete to win the honor of representing their country at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria.
According to the new Broadcaster NERIT, the names of the participants will revealed tomorrow (February 5th). The exact date of the NF has not been revealed yet but it is expected to take place on March 3rd or 4th.
Some of our source say that the following acts will take part in the preselection:
Elena Maria Kiriakou, Shaya, Thomai Apergi, C:Real and Dionysis Schinas. Famous Greek singer Tamta was said to be part of the original line-up but withdrew last minute and was replaced by Elena Maria Kiriakou.
We’ll find out soon enough wheter or not this is true.
Initially there were some concerns that Greece was not able to take part in this year’s contest as they switched broadcasters but we are all relieved that it all worked out in the end and that we’ll get to see them in Vienna.
Greece won the contest in 2005 and has had many Top 10 results since then. One of their worst results in recent years was last year when Freaky Fortune feat. RiskyKidd finished in 20th place with their entry “Rise Up”.
