Ugh, gutted! Thought I had a shot with 4Magic, but guess it wasn't to be. WV118 will be my last edition with - seems the curse has returned so I'll find another home nation/region.

Thanks for anyone that voted for us, and congrats to the qualifiers. Got my Top 6 through and my 10th - only South Africa, Seoul and Wales missing

Congratulations qualifiers! I’m pleasantly surprised to get my top 3 here all through. They didn’t feel like particularly safe qualifiers so I’m pleased. A bummer though to lose Denmark and Australia. Rock is often a struggle at WV unless you go for a very specific type it seems which was probably Volbeat’s downfall, and Australia was too daring and experimental despite actually the fact I thought it had an appealing chorus that would hook people in. Both were great entries.
