Omg, it is so even in my NF, we have reached 10 voters and a single vote could now change the entry for Götaland! :D xcheer

The chances for qualification are actually a bit higher in 3 semis:

(based on 60 participants + 2 PQs)

(2 semis) 13/30 = 0.433333 per semi

(3 semis) 9/20 = 0.45 per semi

Yeah, because it's 9+9+9=27, while with 2 semis they are 13+13=26.

I'm almost sure we won't even reach 60 participants this time, though

For 60 participants, yes. But not when the number is less than 60 with 2 semis, or more than 60 with 3 semis. Then the chance of qualifying is lower with 3 semis.

That's what I meant: for 60 participants. Of course I know that with more participants per semi, a number of 9 qualifiers means lower chances for qualification.

Plus, that's the quantity of the participants. The quality of the entries are such a huge factor in qualifying that makes your calculation ... inaccurate.

That's a different kind of view. The calculation was (naturally) meant 'under the same circumstances', on average (I forgot the official term for it).

I bet you were never really good at beta stuff at school :D

I understand. But keep in mind that not a single edition will be 'under the same circumstances' for qualification, tho.
