Well actually, the EBU is kind of stupid, they bring the five jurors togepher but they cannot discuss and compare the songs to produce a top ten ?
If you want different results make them vote for a song directly after each performance.
I mean in the end doesn't it makes sense for them to discuss it ? Like you discover at the end that the average ranking give Ukraine and the Netherlands the 12 and 10 when they were not anyone favorite. Just because one juror dislike Armenia and Austria so much it put them 20 and 22 for example. If they are all talking about the ranking, doesn't it makes sense to tell that juror that maybe he is making a little mistake there in his judgement ?
If your family follow the contest or your friends, opinions willl influence your judgement so it s only hypocrite for EBU to prevent Georgian jurors to decide their results.
Now that being said, they have to take the results themselves into consideration. If it was something like 1.The Netherlands 2.Armenia 3.Iceland 4.Poland 5.Belarus 6.Sweden 7.Azerbaijan 8.Spain i think the EBU shouldn't take any sanctions against Georgia and explain them that they have to rank the songs invidually and that they will calculate the outcome and not discuss their rankings for next year. If the top 8 was Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland in the top 5, then there is a problem for me.
