And then I already get in trouble. Personally I'm quite sure about Ireland in a televote world, because it's an easy song about a dog with an easy to remember little dance. I think it might even end top 5. But the bookies say no. But I also have a Western bias, so that makes things a bit more difficult. Right now I think:

But I think those song are to complicated or not good for the easy to go ears, but are good for diaspora. I mean 12 free points for Serbia from Montenegro are incoming, probably also a lot from Austria, in the Final that doesn't really matter, but when the cut off is 40 points or even less, it obviously does matter. Greece might have less friends, no Cyprus is a good start...

Okay I put Ireland out and Serbia in. I've seen the Irish staging and it's a mess. Serbia will get the free votes, like I said earlier, not only from Montenegro, but also some from Austria and Greece, so I'm convinced now.

I'm sticking with my initial thoughts this time (which I should have done for semi 1.) Latvia and Australia's songs to me always felt like misses so I'm not going to let fancy staging fool me again, as what happened with Belgium and Slovenia. I'll go with my gut feeling. Czechia felt borderline to me as a song also but with the staging being so underwhelming, I fear it's over now. Having said that though, I think almost everyone has a path to the final. This semi is going to be very exciting.

I got same result as in semi-final 1: 8/10. Denmark and Armenia surprised. But I am happy, that all nordic countries are in Grand Final.

Honestly, the switch didn't matter. Didn't had Armenia on my vision at all. I knew Czechia was out after seeing it. I'm happy with Greece I love the new Nana. Denmark was surprising, but she was one of the best female singers of this SF with Greece so deserved.

Ooo much happier with that. I predicted the two shock misses of Australia and Czechia even before the rehearsals begun, and the two I incorrectly guessed would make it (Serbia and Ireland) I very much wasn't sure on anyway, having them on the borderline. Serbia perhaps was a smidge of a surprise as the good running order and vocals felt like enough for a squeeze through.
