Just doubling some XD

1. Bloc voting can not be stopped
2. Odds are 90% wrong
3. Opera won't win... EVER!
4. People who listen to songs 100 times before the contest don't have correct predictions
5. POTS NEED TO BE MADE BETTER
6. You can curse when you get points, without getting punished (I'm looking at you Denmark)
7. There are no more guaranteed qualifiers
8. Greece will do well even if they send singing chickens (which would be pretty awesome tho)
9. No one will beat the Oslo break show
10. It is possible to have a tense voting
11. Anke is amazing
12. Spain will flop no matter what
13. Zdob zi Zdub will be top15 no matter what
14. Vote givers need to be funnier >,>

ΝΟ my friend. The Greek song was the ONLY Ethnic song (along with Bosnia&Herzegovina) so it had to go very well. And please, no offence, but it's not our fault if you send a song from 60s'! If Greece sends an average, bad, boring song, then will not pass in the final! ;)

5. OMG YES!!! Like why is :ch: even in Pot 1? And Pot 6 looks like it was just put together because there was no where else those countries could go
6. Disagree ;)
7. Disagree - read what I said about Greece above
8. Read number 7.
9. Moscow did.
10. Finally!
11. She was so annoying

1. Many countries have received 12 points this year, for the first time - thus making this contest a bit unpredictable
2. Europe missed Italy, even though fans predicted them to finish in the bottom 5
3. Don't trust the forums or the fans - think like a non-fan :D
4. There are other people who vote in this contest, except fans and forum people
5. Germans are funny and Anke proved that!
6. If I sing for Macedonia on ESC, I won't end up last!
7. Macedonian votes are easy to predict (I got 9/10 in the semi and 7/10 in the final ), I know them so well!
8. You can win big-brother game and you can be top2 in many forums (and BB games... ahmmm, Estonia and Hungary), but that does not equal to the final result.

Lessons learned:

1) Don't over think who will end up at the top, just listen to the dang song like I did last year.
2) Trust the casual listeners like my family.
3) Bookies are not always right, sometimes they're waay off.
4) Moldova likes their brass instruments.
5) Don't listen to the songs a million times, it will skew perception of the song.
6) Even if you look like Celine Dion, it doesn't guarantee you a win or a good placing even.
7) We need funnier spokespeople, :sl: was funny
8) Anke is my new hero, I might even name my future daughter Anke in hopes that she will be funny too.

1. Don't trust betting odds
2. Us "superfans" don't know what's going to happen
3. If you keep on trying hard to win and send consistently great songs, you will win eventually ;)
4. Famous artists/past winners ≠ automatic success
5. If you send ******************** songs, you're "guaranteed" place in the final is at risk (:am: :tr: :il:)
6. Stefan Raab is the most annoying person on Earth
7. Who the ******************** is Jan Delay? Like seriously, who???
8. Contrary to the stereotype, Germans are not efficient.
9. That stage was too big
10. People will make up ANY excuse for their country not doing well (politcal voting, sound problems)
11. Europe is stupid. Sweden third? Seriously, Europe, seriously?
12. Jedward's song is catchier than chlamydia
13. Eurovision should not be held on the weekend before my exams
14. This site seriously needs to up it's capacity. What's the point of an ESC forum if it doesn't work during ESC?
15. Moldovans are cool
16. Interval acts are boring
17. Brits need to stop being so optimistic about their chances.
18. Spain needs to take ESC seriously.
19. Greece will always do well despite how crap their song may be
20. Ireland seems to love Denmark (12 this year and last) for some reason...
21. Scott Mills is not funny.
22. Graham Norton is hilarious.
23. Graham Norton has completely forgotten that he is Irish
24. The Green Room isn't actually green (I always thought it was)
25. Not everyone loves Belarus

These are the 25 things I learned over the last few days...

OMG... that is so... so... true!

Narmina, who was saying bad things about. Azerbaijan? I don't think the best song won on the night, but azerbaijan are a worthy winner they have never sent a bad song to the finals and last year safura was robbed........ So enjoy the win :) lessons to be learnt? I think the ebu have to change the system and go back to having 24 in the final where only finalists can vote, the semis should be a north v south for the remainder of the final places. But its the ebu, so making money from tele voting is the main priority I guess.

1: Expect nothing, otherwise you will be dissappointed.
2: Don't pay to much attention to the song threads in this forum, results are often different.
3: Juries don't really change voting patterns.

2. We need the pots to be made after the songs are chosen and made by favourites. It's not possible to have a horrible Semifinal and an amazing Semifinal where a lot of good songs floped because it was to strong competition.

1. Don't forget bad winners exist, too... xrofl3
2. Neither do songs, nor vocals count anymore.

My lesson: I know as less as betting odds. I never expected this result and I guess this means that the ESC is still alive.

Block voting: I think this is a bit exaggerated. Most of the time, this is not affecting the winner, only the place below. It is still anoying, but Aserbaijan would have won anyhow.
