Usually I hear people saying this: Oh my mom liked this and this etc. It's a bit early to ask, but just in case here's the thread. NOTE: Your aunts and grandparents count too. :D

In the hypothetical case my mum was interested in Eurovision songs, I think she would go for The Netherlands and maybe for San Marino.

Just guessing though...

Well My mum wont hear the 2014 songs until the actual final. She's a narrow minded Brit when it comes to ESC and thinks its all political (despite how much I tell her its not). She only watches it because I do. But last year she was in to Iceland, and kept saying throughout the voting how that should be winning. As for this year, from her taste she will probably like countries such as Norway, Azerbaijan and Montenegro. She might like Spain but she doesn't really like all that vocal acrobatic stuff.

I haven't shown anything to her yet, but she'd probably choose Italy. She's always in love with Italian entries.

Anyway, and as ParadiseES said before, my mum isn't interested in Eurovision either...

My mum isn't interested in Eurovision, but I did show her a few of the entries.
So far, her favourite is Ukraine. :D

I'll feedback after the shows, but I know she definitely likes :uk:, my brother likes :pl: and my sister would've loved :se: had they chosen Ace Wilder.

Oh and my Gran called me during the interval last year to tell me she loved :ge: and :ua: :D

I've played a few songs for my mum (she's not as mad about Eurovision as I am, so watches on the night but beyond that isn't too fussed)
Her responses to the following:

:ro: "I could see that winning!"
:pl: "That's just noise!"
:ge: "What the...?"
:uk: "Mmm..." (open to interpretation!)
:by: "He looks like Robin Thicke!"

To every song I played she replied 'this gives me headaches', 'this is bad', with two exceptions: :nl: (as I expected) and :dk: (she actually loved this one)...

My mum/mom has about the same taste as me. I don't know if I should feel proud or creeped out :?

Though Conchita Wurst really shocked her.

I've only shown her the UK entry (she knows the Irish entry because she saw the national final), she said she likes it.....but no idea if that would be her favourite.

I don't think she'd listen to all the songs before the final, best chance is if they show a recap of the songs on tv.... but they stopped doing that a few years ago.

My mum's favourite is Georgia (as is my brother's), but she also likes Ireland.

Oh wow, some of these really surprised me. I could've bet most mothers had a soft spot for the Belgian singer as he, adorable as he is, sings about... well... his own mother.
