In 1969 there was a four way tie. If there´s a four way tie and no tie breaker there's clearly no winner. Shouldn't count as a win.

Then again sometimes I have wondered what if there were more ties, although impractical for hosting purposes but admittedly I do feel a bit sorry for Spain in that it was both their most recent win and it didn't result in a hosting!

Yeah that is true. Allthough back then the winner didn't always host the following year.

iceland, germany or croatia are miles better than sweden that year. How an ABBA tribute song could have beat these other great songs is still a mystery to me

I didn't like it either back then and I remember beeing pretty pissed off when it won the Swedish NF. Today I can appreciate it better since it has become somewhat of a classic here in Sweden.

It's not an ABBA tribute though. The genre is called "dansband" and is the Swedish equivalent to country/western-music almost. The genre is immensely popular in Sweden but is also considered dorky and un-cool. I used to dislike the whole genre with passion but I can appreciate that too now a days, maybe because I'm getting old, dorky and un-cool haha

Exactly! FOTWOL is one of the worst winners ever for me.

is not overrated but they kinda lost the mojo.
wasn't the best song in 2014 but it rightfully won and it was the best act.
hosting was plain bad, the scoreboard everything wasn't good.

I agree with the rules but when a Country isn't winning either televote or the jury vote I don't feel it as a real big winner

Juries are necessary but there must be at least 10 members cause lol 5 are you joking guys I can't wait to sink all the favorites when I'll be up there just for the drama.

Eurovision is getting bigger - which is so cool - and blander - which is the worst case scenario in my life actually - Can we have 20 Verkas and 6 Victor Crone only thank you.
