Sometimes I know my fire burns low
But as long as you're with me I'll never get cold
'Til day and night, 'til darkness and light
I never worry when you're by my side

Oh, feelings change and seasons fade
But nothing will burn us out
Nothing can stop us now

Out of the embers
You and I are gonna light up the room (Yeah, you and I gonna light up the room)
Out of the embers
There's a fire burning for you (Yeah, there's a fire burning for you)
I feel the heat here
There's still a chance for us
Down herе in the ashes, yeah, thеre's something growing
Out of the embers
You and I are gonna light up the room (Yeah, you and I gonna light)

Light up the room
Light up the room

You and me forever, we're free
We're cool under pressure, and that's all we need
So take my hand, and forget the past
We're in this together, there's no looking back

Oh, feelings change and seasons fade
But nothing will burn us out
Nothing can stop us now

Out of the embers
You and I are gonna light up the room (Yeah, you and I gonna light up the room)
Out of the embers
There's a fire burning for you (Yeah, there's a fire burning for you)
I feel the heat here
There's still a chance for us
Down here in the ashes, yeah, there's something growing
Out of the embers

Light up the room

Out of the embers
You and I are gonna light up the room (Yeah, you and I gonna light up the room)
Out of the embers
You and I are gonna light up the room (Yeah, you and I gonna light up the room)

I did at least prefer Michael Rice's song to last year's and of course there was that over a guy from Wiwibloggs insulting him and then them having to do an awkward red carpet interview with him but admittedly I suppose it still wasn't exactly to the level of Save Your Kisses for Me or Making your Mind Up etc.

I love how we've managed to fill a few pages with nothing but complaints and speculation. 💚

Since pre-recorded vocal are allowed, why don't we ask Jacob Collier to compose something. It might be fun to hear shit ton of harmonies and microtones for once xheat

Is this anything new to be honest? It's basically the UK topic every single year, god bless us.

it never ceases to amaze me. Brits doing what they do best; complain. xheart

And you know what? Mostly our complaints are justified and the horror becomes reality.

Yeah, you got it!! (y)

I really hope every year that :uk: wakes up and starts to take the contest seriously again, but so far all my hopes were crushed and I have strong feeling that James Newman would have crashed and burned as well.

True. It has been quite a while that :uk: made my pulse go high again. High blood pressure is not healthy, but in this case, I wish it'd happen ...

Pfft! Come on, do you really think they'll find the password to the BBC's Eurovision Twitter page that quickly?

Oooooh could it truly be? Our first genuine glint of something to go crazy over??

Fleur East's album I always remember having lots of 80s-style pop-disco-funk tracks that could pop with the right staging... But yeah, we're probably getting middle of the road mid-tempo pop by numbers, right?

Lowering my expectations from the get-go so I'm not disappointed. That's the British way xup
