You misunderstand. I meant that Amy is too big a star to risk losing a Eurovision NF. She would likely consider it too big a risk. Nothing to do with being Scottish. While she does support Independence, I think if she was asked to represent the UK, she would do it.

They wouldn't have done so if they didn't think they could sell the tickets. I suppose their thinking is that a better sounding and better looking venue is worth it.

I have some information..

Very sad information

I got an email today stating my song was no longer in the running to represent the UK :(

Which I assume means that the rest of the rejects got one too

Tear Up The Dark getting rejected.. this kinda gives me hope that the standard of the songs will all be higher than this. Either that, or BBC are really bad at picking entries :lol:

It's probably because she doesn't have the right connections to make it through the back door. All the entrants last year had some kind of connection to the BBC or were already on their radar.

New selection method by face value, but still the same BBC tbh.

and hear them play something new that is twice as better than anything in the NF. xheat Cannot possibly wait for the excitement that will slowly descend into misery over the course of an hour or so. xyes
