Probably going to be someone in their 50s, such is the natural progression of BBC choices

2011 we had a Boy Group
2012 we had a Male Senior
2013 we had a Female Senior

I can't get the thoughts of BBC. I think that Humperdinck and Bonnie Tyler are out of time. They could be good acts in 60's or 80's not in 2012/13.

United Kingdom is full of beautiful music projects... they could be a real big in the Eurovision charts too.

I'm not even going to begin getting my hopes up, it will be something sub par as per the norm. We should just withdraw or let somebody else take the proceedings.

Realistically, I would say that the Scissor Sisters are in with a good chance of representing us next year. In fact, I'd like to put money on it...

Given Ana Matronic's involvement this year and comments such as the below from Jake, it all seems to be set-up perfectly.

"I would go on Eurovision, totally," singer Jake Shears told BBC Radio Five Live.

"If I was asked I would gladly do it for you. I would love to. I'd be happy to."

BBC should change their tactic. UK could win Eurovision easily, but they need to want it.

That would be great...

So... there are rumours saying that 2014 would be the year for...

I honestly agree with the Scissor Sisters' chances, like what was said before, Ana Matronic is a commentator for the semi's for UK this year. It would be great IMO :D

Well, Bonnie said in an interview she was picked when she sent her album to the BBC to see if they'd support any of the songs on the radio, and it was by chance that they found Believe In Me for Eurovision. Maybe they already had the Scissor Sisters in the pipeline, but gave Ana the job as a commentator this year, so they could enter next year?

Scissor Sisters would be likely if they were still together...

They are still together, but are on a hiatus. Although, they quote 'they'll be back sooner than you think'. It may be that Eurovision 2014 is there un-hiatus single...

VANILLA

I have already sent the BBC a copy of their 90's smash hit single "No Way, No Way". Talks are under way. Be prepared.

I think its possible for Sugababes to come on stsge, they need a bit of a career revival.
After all it contains Jade Ewan who probably gave hope again to UK at getting a Top 5 position

Scissor Sisters would indeed be a good and possible choice...
I wonder, how often we read Adele in this thread during the 2014-season ^^
