Since I started watching the contest in 2009, the podium is clear:

3. Bronze medal to :dk: "Only Teardrops" (2013): not a bad song in absolute terms, but incredibly average and random to be a deserved winner. I never got winning vibes from this.
2. Silver medal to :az: "Running Scared" (2011): one the weakest Azeri's efforts led them to victory... How it managed to win is inexplicable to me. There is nothing special about it.
1. Gold medal to :se: "Heroes" (2015): "Euphoria" made a lasting impression, this didn't. Typical Melfest entry. Remove the presentation, there is nothing left. Disappointing since we had so many strong songs that year.

Denmark 2013. Ukraine or Azerbaijan should win.
Estonia 2001. Greece should have won.

My top 8 least favourite winners from 2000:
8. :ee: :2::0::0::1: - nothing special.
7. :lv: :2::0::0::2: - the same.
6. :dk: :2::0::0::0: - the same.
5. :de: :2::0::1::0: - still don't understand why this entry won.
4. :gr: :2::0::0::5: - just don't like it.

3. :ua: :2::0::0::4: - too wild. (As you see I am a big patriot :) )

2. :at: :2::0::1::4: - Her... His... Hmmm, its... Well, the singer's voice annoys me a bit.

And the first place:
:fi: :2::0::0::6:!!! It's not only my most hated winner, but also most hated all-time entry! I know this is only a joke, but I don't like such jokes :mad: I'm happy I didn't watch that year's Eurovision. Well, I never heard their entry but I readed the lyrics... And it's enough for me. :mad:

My all-time favourite entry didn't pass to the final, my all-time most hated entry won the Eurovision... I think it is something wrong with my musical taste :(

:lv: 2002 I am glad they got their first victory, but to me that song is really annoying
:az: 2011 Again, I am glad they got their first win, but Ukraine and Italy was among my favorites.
:se: 2015 Not hating on Måns or Sweden, I love both, but Belgium and Norway was my big favorites. But we got a good show in 2016 so It´s okay xheart xrunhug
:ua: 2016 Not hating on Jamala or Ukraine, but I was team France, The Netherlands and Russia that year. But Jamala has a great stage presence and that deserves recognition.
:es: 1968 Iconic song that I have a love/hate relationship with. I think the main reason why I listed it up here is because once I have listened to it, it just won´t leave my head and it can get so annoying after a while (But I also love "La La La" xheart )

I think that was pretty much it. This was a random order by the way xheya

"1944", period.

Well okay, maybe a little more than a period. Jamala did pour her heart out and the tree looked nice but yeah, this is my least fave one of this decade so far. Sure, the minimalistic production that does build up at the end is intriguing but not really my type when paired with Jamala. Not that I hate her but I really used to despise on how loud she was on "Smile", esp. the last screechy note.

I can't believe I already posted here a few years back...

Anyway, as of now, I just want to mention one thing... Estonia 2001... Even if I didn't like many winning songs, I could somehow feel the winning vibe from said winner. I hate Sweden 2012, but I get why it won, same for many other songs. "Everybody", though... I listened to it many times, watched the performance and I just don't feel anything... no winning vibe, nothing. I think this might be the only ESC winner that I don't understand why it won.

I only list songs that won since I started watching in 2003.

Don´t like:

:fi: 2006 This was just an ok rock song, without the costumes they wouldn´t have won imo.

:no: 2009 I still don´t get this landslide victory, found the song pretty repetitive and the violine just irritating. xshrug

HATING with passion:

:ru: 2008 The perfect example that a complete over-the-top performance can win the thing for a boring song without any climax

:az: 2011 For me the most undeserving winner during my active time as a fan. A bland and cheesy pop song performed by a couple who had as much harmony together like two bottles of bathroom cleaners. Also the most forgotten winner, one day after no one among my friends and family remembered this song.

:il: 2018 For me this isn´t a song but just three minutes of loud noises and cackling performed by an unlikable singer who had a voice as pleasant as a fire siren. xdown

and obviously ireland 94

songs that were my last place (or close to it at least): france 58, denmark 2000, netherlands 2019

i HATED when sweden 2015 won, but i'm kind of fine right now, but i still think it shouldn't win

special mention to portugal 2017 because the singer is an awful elitist unlikeable person and i can't listen to the song (which i think it's good) the same way
