Transfer poll ownership to admin - possible?

Is it possible to transfer ownership of the poll-part of a thread and making the poll-result confidential? I have no interest of knowing the details behind the result and I rather prefer to have out of my hands. If so, could it be marked confidential as well?

Thanks. Suddenly I'm unsure when I checked just now. Perhaps I confused the polls on this forum with another, because I don't seem to be able edit anything anyway. So it doesn't matter whatever happens.
