Wasn't me, but iirc Sundfor sent Requiem (France 2017) to WLSC shortly before it was announced as the entry.

sent Little Big ( 2020) to the NSC in 2016 and 2019, but since ESC was cancelled in 2020, I dunno if it counts...
Also sent Darude ( 2019) to the NSC in February 2019, but that was shortly after Darude was announced as their participant, but I also sent Darude to AATW Finland in 2012.

Haven't sent many former ESC participants either afaik, I think Alex Christensen ( 2009) is the only one, sent in 2018.

Wasn't even the first time it happened, La noche es para mi (Spain 2009) came 9th for Scorpionia in NSC 31 a few months before it was announced for ESC.
