INFORMATION FOR NEW PLAYERS
After you join the Waiting List, I highly recommend looking for a place for your country. The unoccupied areas implicitly belong to both withdrawn nations, and current WLers. With few exceptions, you can claim any territory you wish. Take into account the geography and descriptions of the geocultural regions above, to find what is most fitting to the concept of your nation. PM me and I'll reserve the area for you. I'm also more than happy to answer any of your questions and give advice.
There is no hard limit on how big or small a nation can be, as long as you're not trying hardcore imperialism.
NSC is farily liberal when it comes to worldbuilding. Current nations range from medieval fantasy, to realistic, to futuristic.

So I just deliver you a new, redesigned map I worked really hard on and you're already asking me to do a another redesign? You go on ahead, I ain't moving a finger about that ''terrain'' map.

And sure you can organize voting polls for names, I don't have time for that. Just PM names and I'll put them in their place.

I'm not mad. Hardly anyone can make me mad. I was just saying. If I was mad caps look would be turned on.

But sure if you wish to do terrain map it would awesome! :D I just can't find that much time anymore to do one myself.

Re: The NSC Universe Project (Updated Map Inside)

I'd still love to hear some background behind your names btw Kreso :p Some of them are so creative; I love Keskian and Molian, they sound so "natural" and realistic, and Azechian is a great reference to Zechonia, and you've definitely got the exact right idea with Sudjour too :p

So most of your names are already a success story, and I'll be very surprised if some of them don't get voted on, but I think it would also be great to see what others people can come up with! :D

Anyway, I'm alllllll done with exams and school now, so I'll see how I can help with these naming polls; it's something I've been intending to do for a long time anyway! xD

Keskian Ocean - ''Keski'' finnish for ''middle''
Pohjooiean Ocean - ''Pohjoiseen'' finnish for ''north''
Lansian Ocean - ''Länsi'' finnish for ''west''
Reunal Ocean - ''Reuna'' finnish for ''edge''
Molian Sea - Mobius + Halito + an
Spiral Bay - Named after spiral pattern of Scorpionian islands
Angel Sea - Reference to Maltese ESC 2005 song
Continental Pass Sea - Because it looks like a passage between north and south continent
Azechian Bay - A as in Andrea as in QuienDQ + Zechonia
Eternal Sea - Because.
Big Woman Bay - Continent shape reference
Frozen Bay - Greenfroze
Lake of Origin - Norigin
Ilex lake - Played Pokemon Gold & Silver?

Sudjour - ''Sud'' = south in numerous languages

There is even further story for some, but we'll get to it later. Finnish has great words.

Re: The NSC Universe Project (Updated Map Inside)

I was looking at the map and couldn't help it, but look at it geologically. :geek: So, I came up with an idea of making tectonic plates on this map. I thought of 10 plates + 3 microplates.
Here is the list of the so-called plates:
1. Galean plate
2. Tohrian plate
3. Pohjoorean plate
4. Norigin plate
5. Chiara plate
6. Keskian plate
7. Lansian plate
8. Reunal plate
9. Bokian plate (Bokia + VPS)
10. Balian plate (Balearica + Kuki-Q and the ocean bellow)
and 3 microplates:
1. Ametanian microplate
2. Walorian microplate
3. Yoyo microplate (TSZMBOD)

I hope you didn't mind this.

That would make sense since Kostanovia just suffered an earthquake during NSC 53. Or was it a hurricane, eh I can't remember  BUT, amazing map omg  It's perfect I don't want any changes to the names or anything!

I hadn't expected anything less than brilliance from you and your map has met my expectations. QuiénDQ seems to have altered a bit in shape but I'll get used to it. ;) Happy to see the capital displayed and am happy I inspired a name, myself.  Happy I'm part of SUDJOUR!

That's great! It would be nice if everyone updated their wiki pages. Wiki was quite useful for me while making the map.

Also, here is map in full size. This one is already half-fixed, but I won't put it on first page until it's completely fixed.
