Logical choice!

I would have preferred one of the bigger new arenas though, but this is good enough.

Congrats Stockholm!

Disapointed from the choice...
I expected Tele-2 Arena...

I heard they will show ESC16 live on a big screen on Tele2 Arena? Almost sounds more fun than the actual final :p lol

Globe has a very specific and warm atmosphere. A very nice choice :)

Globen is too small, they should have come to an arrangement with tele2 over the football.

I don't mind it, but I really wanted Gothenburg to host. :'(

Glad that it is Stockholm; would've preferred Tele2 tho. Hopefully this means that by choosing a smaller venue, they can spend more money on the production. xheart

I am so happy it's in Stockholm! Thank god! Maybe I can get some tickets! When do they usually start selling? Are there any available after christmas?

Great news :-)

Honestly I don´t know, if I will go this year again. I mean, Stockholm is a very, very nice venue for travelling and Eurovision live in the arena is always very special, but it will be so expensive for sure. Time will show :-)
FilipFromSweden: For Düsseldorf and Vienna (the both ESCs I visited), ticket sales started End of November/Beginning of December, but some tickets became avaliable during the ESC-year again (Actually both times you were able to buy regular tickets for the Grand Final on the night before because some tickets went back).
