I still have high hopes for Turkey. You had an amazing song in 2008 so I am kinda hoping for something similar.

But that's the fact. There's no guarantee them to make a successfull choise. Because it only works according to relationships between singers and the broadcaster and the cause of us sending all those bland oriental pop songs is 'professional jury' to stand closer to such songs and this always remains.. The only way out is sending a rock singer or band but most of them aren't even close to sing in another language and this choise isn't appreciated by European as i think.
I only wish them recovering and decide to take place a song selection for public's sake. :ugeek:

we've already had some rock tunes in 2008.
I hope that TRT won't stick to the "cheap pop w/ a lil' bit of folk" formula. Send electronica. Loud, melodic and aggressive rhythm, please.

^Indeed.. I think it's the most unique and slightly attempted style in the ESC it'd be the best to send such a song but don't sure who can show that.. Most likely names are Hande Yener and Beduk but it's not exactly what they generally make... There're some 'less'known bands but with an internal it's almost impossible to come true.

Here's one of my favorite bands and the most favorite song of them. But they've no chance to go with this selection system:

We don't know the date yet.When i learn it,i will write here I think they will made the announcement in next two weeks.

Manga will represent Turkey at MTV Europe Music Awards. (Other candidates were Atiye, Nil Karaibrahimgil, Bedük and Kenan Do?ulu but Manga won by votes.).

I think Manga is also a good choice for Eurovision. I hope TRT will declare our representative as soon as possible.

Emre Ayd?n got 'the best european act' award on MTV EMA last year.I think Leona Lewis deserved it more than Emre but Emre is a very good singer too.He will release an english single soon.

I think Emre Ayd?n would be a good choice for eurovision.He rocked here with his first album and i believe he can also rock Europe.
