(Ah)
Tout l'univers
Nos deux cœurs sous la terre
Au milieu des failles et des ressacs
Nous nous retrouvons au point d'impact
Comment soigner nos coeurs qui éclatent?
Tout l'univers

Well, I don't think it's the slightest bit emotional and rather predictable as a song goes - which isn't an issue for me because not every song needs emotions and to be unique. That said, this is far better than that overrated drivel from last year, by miles. That explosive ending will sound so great live in the arena if he can hit the notes well. I feel like this is everything Blas should have done for Spain, but didn't. Such a big improvement from Switzerland.
Everything my learned colleague just said xheat

FINALLY SOME QUALITY MUSIC! ;)

This is a top 10 entry in Rotterdam, let's not delude ourselves otherwise.
It is very well written, the dynamics are nice, his voice is amazing and I have absolutely zero doubts about his live capabilites. I also dare say this would actually take some superpower skills to stage wrong. It's great!

...except it leaves me quite cold, and I liked Répondez-moi a lot better. I assist to a perfect craft show-off, but I don't feel much emotional effect that is required for true perfection.

So it's an "academic" :8: for now. Barbara wins this French language battle easily for me, I find it a lot more captivating and easier to connect to.

I really like France, but I prefer this one, by a solid margin.... :)

I never got the fan hype of Repondez-moi. I have to admit it oozed quality - but I was definitely not a fan of his falsetto.
When starting listening to this I though "oh...more of the same"... But next time I turned up the volume and put on my hearphones - and at around 1,40 somethings happen - the beat kicks in, the sound gets richer, and in this part his voice really fits the sound picture of the song!
I am sure I like this a whole lot more than last year. Someone said more anthemic, and yes, this feels anthemic (damn, that reminded me once again of another anthemic song NOT competing for Norway this year xcry.) - and I like anthemic when done well. It can also translate really well on stage.
But still - not completely convinced with all this falsetto.

Gjon's falsetto though is more pleasant than Blas' falsetto. Do you agree?

Despite the fact that I like Repondez-moi more I give it 10 points for those beautiful verses! And the music video is stunning, can we agree on that?

I have the feeling that this one is meant to performed live for its vibe to be caught.
I need some movement, some facials, something. The music video is very detached from the song (it's not their fault, they seem to have lost a lot of the footage according to Gjon). However this is a certain top 10 and a jury pleaser. For some reason I think it'll do better in the jury than France. It's lovely, I think that as of now it's my new #1 xheart

2nd listen: hm, it is definitely Art, but the kind of irrelatably sophisticated art. I can appreciate it from a distance, fake sincere interest, but actually doesnt really touch me. Same with Voila from France. I am not mad if the song wins, because Eurovision is always so far away from my country lately. But I wont be bothered playing the song again.

Repondez-moi had a more memorable hook.

I would have preferred both songs though sang by a girl. His voice goes really high, but it is not angelic, so I am not mesmerized by it.

Oh ok Switzerland, I see you!

"Tout l'Univers" is such an improvement over last year for me. "Répondez-Moi" was not bad, but there was something cheesy about it I could not get past, at times the phrasing was wonky, and the instrumentation was a tad too hollow, something was missing.

This time, I dig the melody 100% and the fact it's got drive all along due to the drums, backing voices and strings. Now that is a chorus! Like Blas, his upper register is not my favourite thing, but it remains mastered, balanced and apropos in this composition.

Bonus points for:
+ singing in French again xheart
+ having outer-space aesthetics (Gera, I feel you)
+ reducing the chances of qualification of "Ameh" in semi 2.

The Swiss teaching us how to do a proper ballad in our language in 2021. I feel disrespected, but I'm here for it.

Personally, I don't see the similarities with "Arcade", actually I wish "Arcade" sounded like that: the waiting for the next winning song would have been more bearable for me.

:12: points. Well done. Several returnees let me down, but that's not the case here.
Qualification guaranteed and a contender for the highest places for sure. Good luck!

I am done here because I already forgot the song another time.
