Well, the first time they tried this selection process with the extra round (expert check) last year, it worked. This year was just a blip on the radar considering how well Sebalter did in Copenhagen, I hope the Swiss choose a really good song and artist for Stockholm

Unfortunatelly Stephanie Heinzmann already mentioned in an interview, that she can´t imagine to do Eurovision at the moment.
She would´ve been a great choice :-)

I'd suggest Sebalter was the blip. All the other songs in the last two national finals were awful.

I liked Takasa's in 2013, it was really catchy and I still listen to it today. Mélanie's I thought was the strongest of the six finalists this year and her live vocals were consistent. It was just a shame that she had to be the one to follow Mans in semi 2 when he was so heavily favored, she certainly didn't deserve what she got in the way of placement and points (her performance was definitely stronger than Iceland and San Marino)

Melanie was clearly the strongest in a very weak field. While she sung well, the song was still pretty generic Eurovision by numbers.

I honestly can't remember her performance at ESC.
