Yeah I get it, the anticipation ( especially from european fans ) is the biggest for Loreen, but it can still be a good sign, if her song was dreafull they wouldnt end with it.

If it was anything above dreadful I think they would. It's important to remember Loreen has made exactly 1 final in her Melfest career. Some people on here will call Tattoo the greatest thing ever regardless. I'm aware of that. We will have to wait and see if the hype is justified.

The Swedish running orders are so effing boring at this point.
Let´s assume "Edelweiss" is a song in Swedish - in 3 out of 4 semis, a Swedish song has been placed #2 whilst we always get the biggest names as the opening and closing acts.

It´s the same in Eurovision (thanks to Björkman and the EBU), a Big 5 country closes the final and a foreign language song gets #2 (this year was partly weird, I have to admit).. dunno, the running order doesn´t really matter when it comes down to 7 songs only (especially since Sweden doesn´t really have big breaks in between) but I would love it to be less predictable.

It's important to remember Loreen has made exactly 1 final in her Melfest career.

Thats mostly because swedish people enjoy commiting voting crimes in Melfest tho! They picked Tusse over Every minute Dotter didnt even win with Bulletproof They wanted Anders instead of Cornelia

My heart is refusing me is a great pop song and became a big hit, Statements was hard for people to get but still deserved to go to the final. For me all 3 of her Melfest offerings were good so I have high expectations. The trap for Loreen is that she needs to be catchy and mainstream for ESC while she has gone experimental and alternative in her career the last years.

TBH, this is one of the most uninspiring Melfest sets I've seen in a long time.
