There's fire in the rain
But we'll get up again
We're thousand miles apart
But we'll overcome

I'll never let you down
World is turning us around
But I feel it in my heart
Let's make a brand new start

Can't stop us now forget the haters
Get up and live and make it matter
There's more to life so go ahead and
sing it out

Can you hear
a million voices
Calling out
in the rain
You know we got
a million choices
So go get out
and let it rain

A million voices voices
A million voices voices
A million voices voices
A million voices

There's fire in the rain
And I can feel your pain
Painting all the scars in
The colors of change

Don't let them hold you down
Don't let them hold you down
Go shooting like a star
The star you are

Can't stop us now forget the haters
Get up and live and make it matter
There's more to life so go ahead and
sing it out

Can you hear
a million voices
Calling out
in the rain
You know we got
a million choices
So go get out
and let it rain

Can you hear them
A million voices voices
Can you hear them
A million voices voices
Can you hear them
A million voices voices
Can you hear them
A million voices

Can you hear them?
Can you hear them?

Can you hear
a million voices
Calling out
in the rain
You know we got
a million choices
So go get out
and let it rain

Can you hear them
A million voices voices
Can you hear them
A million voices voices
Can you hear them
A million voices voices
Can you hear them
A million voices

Bunch of bullshit! There is no way in hell Eva & Ewa isn't qualifying, everybody is talking about them. I work as a music teacher 50 % and the kids often ask me to put their song on

There is still the possibility of Antivoting unfortunately.

I’m thinking that if Sweden voted for Benjamin’s dated package in 2018 then surely it’s a no brainer that they will opt for a much more elevated and modern offering from Eric?🤔

20. Dismissed - "Hearts align" (2017)
Does Rainy like this?

IIRC no, alas (though maybe things have changed in the years since?)

What a list though. Elize & Rickard xheart "Statements" & the ensuing writeup xheart

Tumblr, mostly.

Yes... if the pro-Clara votes AND the Anti-Evas votes outnumber the pro-Evas votes. That doesn't look too likely imo?

Eric probably wins the televote by votes, but he won't get a big lead once they're tranformed to points and he also won't win the jury vote singing like that. Mamas are most likely winning the jury and probably get 2nd/3rd in televote and win.

I have a feeling Eva & Ewa can win televoting in MF final…If just international jury give them a bit more points they can win the whole MF and fly Swedish flag in Rotterdam..But that bloody jury will not vote them enough.. :(

Eric Saade is in the lead when it comes to YouTube views, almost the double of Tusse, interesting
Isn't he also in the lead on Spotify?

I mean I take such stats with a grain of salt but it proves my point that people aren't so much into Tusse's song but more driven by his story... which might be interesting if it was "Eurovision Biography Contest" but it's not

When all is said and done, Eric's overall package is probably the best we have to offer Europe this year... the performance is pretty interesting, the song is modern and eventhough is a "male solo Pop" act it sounds and look different than the rest, I actually like that it's kinda dark and minimalist which differs from what we tend to send.

I don't know why Tusse is the favourite to win, isn't his song just as little beige as the rest with a less impressive staging?
Yes the song is beige and the stage show too, but as I wrote earlier Swedes are driven alot by media sob stories and less about rationale so... if media says "vote for Tusse", alot of people will do so unfortunately...

The update for I-tunes:

The Mamas
#1 MRM’S HOUSE

xheat

Majority of Swedes use Spotify, iTunes is a very bad indicator here.

If I look past media hype (that has the most influence unfortunately on MF), then Spotify, radio plays and Youtube are the best indicators to predict anything.

But yeah, media hype has the most influence... last year both Dotter and Anna had more popular songs but The Mamas had a bit of more hype.

I haven't heard Tess's song, but considering the nostalgia we have for Finnish disco-schlager, which results in songs like Cicciolina and Draamaa, perhaps our love for the genre is not that surprising. :D

Oh, dear. How high is he on Spotify? It's a better indicator here.
Btw, Teflon Brothers was higher than Blind Channel up until the Finals, and it didn't predict the winner. At all. Even Ilta was higher than BC.
So...deep breaths.

I dont have any big feelings for any of the swedish songs this year. I guess I enjoy Every Minutes most - as a song. But Eric Saade doesnt seem to have evolved a single bit vocally since his last attempt in the ESC. Every Minutes shouldn't be to demanding vocally, but the guy just doesnt have what it takes.

At this point I believe iTunes does not command a bigger share of music consumption right? It's more about streaming these days. So I believe a more accurate gauge will be Spotify/Apple music.
