This is very misleading, though. I only use Spotify about 30% of the time, Winamp accounts for the rest. The 13,531 minutes listened this year are but a fraction of the roughly 50,000 minutes listened so far this year (8,800 songs scrobbled to last.fm, most songs I listen to are 4-8 minutes long).

Once again, I'm kind of confused by these Spotify lists. I pretty much exclusively used Spotify this year, and yet Serhat's Say Na Na Na is missing from my top 5 songs list (going by Lastfm it's my number 3). Apparently as well this fall I was crazy for a Halo podcast
Ummm no. I haven't once listened to any podcasts on Spotify.
The way that Wrapped thing is presented though is really cool. I loved hearing a reprise of Saditik's Saints every 10 seconds. It reminded me of the results that time when Amber won the Maltese Eurovision selection and was receiving her eighty 12s to the constant sounds of "BREEEAK THROUGH THE SIIIILEEEENSSSSS".

I think I've got an explanation for those (to some extent) bizarre years statistics Spotify is presenting us. I think they examine the time frame from November of previous year until October of the current year. That's why my WV 101 artist Porcelain Raft (I hope somebody remembers) is leading the 2019 ranking although I listened to him like five times in 2019. However, I listened to him like crazy in November '18, so that's probably why he appears in my ranking. On the other hand, the artists I scrobbled a lot in November of this year are probably not even taken in account, although that was my most musical month ever.
For the first time two Eurovision songs made it into my top 5 songs. The top artists of 2019 are accurate , apart of Porcelain Raft as I said. And Jonsi? Don't remember I listened to him that much, but Rammstein is indeed my most listened band of 2019.
Chamber Pop is a nice genre but that's not the first genre I'd come up with thinking about my taste. Well, Keaton Henson and Sufjan Stevens maybe pushed this genre.

I only really go through a phase of briefly using Spotify occasionally, and generally it's been so long I have to try and work out what my username or password was lol. I did use Grooveshark a bit just before I left school, that was fun but generally I tend to just use YouTube!
Not entirely representative since Spotify only accounts for about half of my played music in 2020, the remaining being Winamp. Also, why does Spotify Wrapped always use the most ghastly looking colors that never match?! More customization please.
I also listen to music a lot on Youtube so this was always going to be less accurate, but still, pretty accurate nonetheless. My first half of 2020 enthusiasm for Eurovision shows lol. And Eartha Kitt skyrocketing after being in WV (thanks @RainyWoods xx)
