Toñi Prieto is still there tho, I'm not sure how it's gonna turn out tbh xstars I hope the new head of entertainment takes it more seriously, but I don't trust Prieto at all 😬

Is there any chance that Ana Mena will propose herself to RTVE? She has become a constant summer presence in Italy with all her collaborations with Italian rappers, has participated as a duet partner in Sanremo last year and she also submitted a song for this year's Sanremo. Considering how ESC 2022 will probably the most watched edition ever in Italy it might make sense for her to participate.

doubt they will consider her. RTVE is completely out of touch I think.

Meh, a kind of Sanremo wannabe that stopped airing several years ago. Even if we're getting a proper NF, I'm sure RTVE will mess things up once again when entry is selected sinking us again into Bottom 5. Unless we get rid of Toñi Prieto and Ana María Bordás sometime in the future, I have no faith at all in Spain entering at least Top 15.

This is good news! Let’s be optimistic, it’s July and we already know something about the preselection process in Spain. This can’t get worse than it has been.

One of the members of this new Spanish working group is the jury member who downvoted Mirela in the 2017 Spanish NF on purpose, to make her lose against the male singer. So, I assume that this will still be the way they'll handle the new national selection, as in, paving the way for their preferred singers to "win"... And then getting a last place in the actual ESC. So, unless a miracle happens, Spain is headed to another clear failure next year too.
