Sorry sorry for Spain, but tonight ESDM was the worst, Raquel out of tune and totally nervous, the staging absolutely unremarkable.
TVE went many steps down after a great 2012... I hope next year they choose a better artist because honestly ESDM didn't do it very well and deserved to be in the bottom.

At least you take it with a lot of humour, respect guys! ;D
Once again I say it's big pity because it's great song, but weak performance and early draw dig it's (almost) grave...

I rather be at last instead of second last, so at least we would be remembered XD

Seriously guys, I know it wasn't a flawless performance, but ESDM didn't deserve such a bad place. They are such a prestigious band and deserved a decent result. I don't think it's because of the performance. Just because it's a song most people like, but almost nobody loves, as always.

Even though, I'm glad that reactions from ESDM and TVE were nice. They didn't blame anybody. They were glad of our performance and took it with fair play.

This was not one of the best performances of the night, but it was far from the weakest one. Toooo low position for Spain again.

The whole performance was horrible so it deserved what it got.

Maybe in 2014, TVE will finally make an effort to send something decent!

It was great performance and decent song, they have made "winning feel" on the stage. Really shame this song is not more appreciated. :(

the singer was way too nervous, it was awkward at moments to listen to her :?

No matter how much I like ESDM in general and this song was in my top 10 before the show as well, while watching the performance I was sure this one will end up last. You should be thankful to Ireland for being there and saving you from being last. It looked like it was completely out of place (I got the same feeling with Cyprus in SF1 too), and the performance was underwhelming. :(

I was looking to forward to it and she began, I was like... "euh no". I think she was out of tune all the time.

Spain was the favorite of my friends yesterday and I also quite liked their entry.
So they deserved a better place imo.

Audience ratings: 5,3 milliones and 33,1%. Lower than last year, but higher than 2007 and 2011, lowest Eurovision ratings in the recent years.

Here the ratings 1992-2013:

2013 (ESDM): 33,1%
2012 (Pastora Soler): 43,5%
2011 (Lucía Pérez): 32,3%
2010 (Daniel Diges): 41,9%
2009 (Soraya): 35,9%
2008 (Chikilicuatre): 59,3%
2007 (DNash): 28%
2006 (Las Ketchup): 38,9%
2005 (Son de Sol): 35,5%
2004 (Ramón): 50,1%
2003 (Beth): 58,4%
2002 (Rosa): 80,4% (this was the most watched TVshow until Spain won EuroCup 2008)
2001 (David Civera): 45,7%
2000 (Serafín Zubiri): 34,8%
1999 (Lydia): 34,2%
1998 (Mikel Herzog): 32,3%
1997 (Marcos Llunas): 30,3%
1996 (Antonio Carbonell): 27,5%
1995 (Anabel Conde): 35,5%
1994 (Alejandro Abad): 26,1%
1993 (Eva Santamaría): 42,2%
1992 (Serafín Zubiri): 25,4%

Actually, we must take into account that in the recent years we have much more TV channels, so audience ratings are lower for everyone. Nevertheless, Eurovision is usually the most watched TV of the year, after football and new year celebrations.

I wish we could get 2002's ratings again  I'm not surprised about this year because TVE has made no promotion...

They are such a prestigious band and deserved a decent result.

Eh? What the hell does that matter? What should matter is the song and performance, the song may have been alright but the performance let it down.
