To celebrate the qualification tonight, Lil Nas X performed his hit "Old Town Road" on the stage of Kauai: The After Show on KITV
alongside some WV flop legends
One hundred and eight editions later, they are finally back!
The two legends who performed "Oran a Cloiche" on the stage of New York in WorldVision 33, a song who unexpectedly won the hearts of many voters, are now returning on the stage with a song from the same musical production as last time, the Transatlantic Sessions, this time representing the region of Sarah, while last time it was Kathleen's country who shone bright.
The song is called "Gur Milis Morag" or "Sweet is Morag" and the story around it is a Hebridean love story with a bittersweet end. The woman, who in the song is singing to her child, had two lovers when she was younger. The one she eventually married went away to war and was believed to have been killed. Thinking he is dead, she remarried, the new husband being her original second lover from many years before. But the long-absent husband unexpectedly returns and the woman, hearing of his return, is singing to her child (who's father is the second husband) as he arrives at her cottage door.
For the 145th edition we are changing the tune, embracing the last days of summer with a fiery hot performance by Latin-American singer and songwriter. In collaboration with NBC 6 South Florida and Telemundo 51 we are presenting you... Nayer! She was born in Cuba but her life journey led her to Miami, Florida, where her singing and acting career flourished. It is not her first WorldVision rodeo however, as she represented Cuba in WV82 along with Pitbull and Mohombi and later Lebanon in WV104 in collaboration with Melissa. Third time is a charm for queen Nayer!
