So far I’m not too keen on the postcard concept. I don’t need those video song throwbacks in the postcards. I mean the general idea of including that is actually not bad but they could have included it in a more gentle way than just throwing the video snippets at us. I don’t know, like each representative looking at fotos or gadgets of former important entries. And the new footage of this years acts that is shown after the throwbacks seems a bit too bland/ superficial somehow. We don’t get to see a lot from them. What they like to do and so on… I always loved postcards that showed us more of that or that showed the acts at any form of activity, like last year or in 2021 (very good postcards in my opinion!).

By the way those glam shots of the participants feels very reality TV talent show-ish (Idol/X-Factor) and I'm a little irked.

Showing past successful/remarkable acts during the postcard is the worst idea one could ever come up with. What is the use of putting extra pressure on the artist by promoting a meme song of Moldova that went worldwide before the Moldovan act? What is the point of showing a winner of a country before their most recent representative takes the stage, and doesn't qualify for the final in the end? I would have expected this idea not even being a thing to begin with, let alone being approved.

It feels like the wrong year to me for those song throwbacks. It isn't like this is a special anniversary year, nor is it a year with a theme focused on remembrance or something like that. It is implemented in a way that is disjointed.

So far the only postcard that has worked for me has been that of Bambie Thug, because they had a postcard that felt more like an extension of the performance, given the confines of the multi-screen format. Which I also don't like, because the way every postcard has the exact same format makes the postcards feel too formulaic to me. Beyond the normal formulaic level inherently part of the postcard concept, that is.

Wow. That's freaking low. If such comments had been made by commentators during the official broadcast on air, KAN needs to be suspended for a year or, pay a fine.
I wish time had changed but dunno, the EBU made the Azerbaijani broadcaster pay a few hundreds after they interrogated viewers because they had voted for Armenia.

I don't want to compare to absolutely pathetic incidents but that's clearly professional at all and needs to be looked at.
